Expanding essential spay/neuter and wellness care
GROWING TO SERVE MORE PETS & PEOPLE
Phase One is complete! The expanded facility is now open. Phase Two is underway, with renovation of the original building moving forward. Critical needs remain, including roof and parking lot improvements. These upgrades are essential to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for every animal and family who enters our doors.
Help us bring this project to completion and ensure every animal receives care in a safe, welcoming environment.
Opening the Doors to What’s Next
What was once a parking lot and hillside is now a reality, our expanded facility at Bristol Humane Society officially opened on April 1.
This new space includes a modern surgery suite, additional kennels to care for more dogs and cats, and a dedicated lobby and reception area for spay/neuter clients, allowing us to serve our community more efficiently than ever before.
For those who have struggled with parking, relief has arrived! Our new lot adds 50 needed spaces, making visits easier for both pets and the people who love them.
While Phase One is now complete, the momentum continues. Renovations on our original building are underway as we move into Phase Two, expanding our impact even further.
Thank you for being part of this incredible transformation!
Our Mission
As a nonprofit organization, the mission of Bristol Humane Society is to provide accessible resources to ensure that animals are healthy and happy, and the bond between pets and their families is strengthened. Our commitment to our region is to provide accessible, affordable, and compassionate veterinary care, as well as health and well-being support, to dogs and cats. Through our low-cost spay/neuter and wellness clinics, we strive to support responsible pet ownership, reduce pet overpopulation, and improve the welfare of all animals in our community. Our community outreach, pet food and supplies pantry, along with our education center, will allow us to offer a range of opportunities to further support our community.

Expanding essential spay/neuter and wellness care
Our expansion is more than just constructing walls–it’s about building hope and saving lives.
Since opening in 2005, the MBM Spay/Neuter Clinic has been committed to providing affordable surgeries for pets in need. We’ve performed over 200,000 surgeries, expanded to offer vaccination clinics in 2015, and introduced wellness care in 2022. Today, the need for our services has outgrown our facility.
