Bristol Humane Society’s Capital Campaign
Expanding essential spay/neuter and wellness care
Fundraising Goal: $4,000,000
The Bristol Humane Society is EXPANDING to meet the increasing demand for affordable and accessible veterinary care in Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee. With your help, we can extend our impact by doing even more spay/neuter surgeries and providing vital services to dogs and cats in need.
Expanding essential spay/neuter and wellness care
Our expansion is more than just constructing walls–it’s about building hope and saving lives.
Since opening in 2005, the MBM Spay/Neuter Clinic has been committed to providing affordable surgeries for pets in need. We’ve performed over 200,000 surgeries, expanded to offer vaccination clinics in 2015, and introduced wellness care in 2022. Today, the need for our services has outgrown our facility.
Our Mission
As a nonprofit organization, the mission of Bristol Humane Society is to provide accessible resources to ensure that animals are healthy and happy, and the bond between pets and their families is strengthened. Our commitment to our region is to provide accessible, affordable, and compassionate veterinary care, as well as health and well-being support, to dogs and cats. Through our low-cost spay/neuter and wellness clinics, we strive to support responsible pet ownership, reduce pet overpopulation, and improve the welfare of all animals in our community. Our community outreach, pet food and supplies pantry, along with our education center, will allow us to offer a range of opportunities to further support our community.
